ATC Swap Gallery - Background Stamps

Thanks so much to everyone who took part in the Background Stamps ATC Swap! For this swap - artists used Darkroom Door Background Stamps to create their ATC's. We loved seeing the different ways everyone used the Background Stamps and all the creative ideas! Here's a look at all the ATC's that were sent in for this swap:

Lynne used the Harlequin and Flourish Background Stamps.

Teresa, Anne and Judith all used the Star Background Stamp.

Robyn & Lisa used the French Script Background Stamp.

Wight also used the French Script Background. It's one of our most popular stamps!

Sue and Anne used the Floral Background, while Lisa used the French Script Background.

Shirley used the Criss Cross Background.

Sandra used the Harlequin Background. Vicky and Emilia used the Dots Background. Emilia also used the Criss Cross Background - love the combination of these together!

Candy and Robyn used the Flourish Background.

Artist Trading Card Swap Details - Word Block Stamps

The swap theme for April is Word Block Stamps! Use any stamp from our Word Block Collection to create Artist Trading Cards. You can incorporate the Word Block any way you choose, but please make sure it is noticable and a main part of your artwork.

Ideas:
* Use the Word Block as a background (like the ATC's above)
* Highlight one or two words from the stamp (Like the ATC on the right)
* Colour the Word Block with different inks or markers for a multi-colour effect
* Punch out shapes
* Trim words and make into a list
* Use resist techniques to highlight words or the whole Word Block

These are just some ideas... we can't wait to see what other ideas you may wish to use!

Turquoise / Aqua ATC Swap details

The swap theme for the March ATC swap is the colour TURQUOISE / AQUA!

This means you can use any Darkroom Door rubber stamp or product to create your ATC's, but the main colour of the ATC should be Turquoise/Aqua! The due date is 31st March 2012.

Wondering what inkpads to use? Here's some ideas:

Distress Ink: Broken China or Tumbled Glass
Distress Stains: Broken China or Tumbled Glass
Archival Ink: Aquamarine
Precious Metal Colour: Turquoise

Of course the colour is open to your interpretation - you can use any product to create your colours!! Just remember you need to incorporate any Darkroom Door rubber stamp or paper product into your ATC too.
