Flower card article in Handmade magazine

I received a copy of the latest Handmade magazine issue Vol 28 No 12 in the mail yesterday, which features an series of cards I created using the Friendship Flowers and Wildflowers Vol 1 stamp sets, along with Venetian and Full Bloom Wordstrips.One of the cards appears on the cover too :)

Art De Fleur Card Article

I am so excited to have a sert of cards published in Vol 16 No 10 issue of Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft magazine! I used the Art de Fleur stamp sets along with some vintage doilies and trims. Here's a sneak peek at the cards:

Take Ten Autumn 2010 - Teresa's Cards!

Have you seen the August 2010 issue of Take Ten?

Behind this beautiful cover is not one, not two, but i think 18 cards by our very own talented guest artist Teresa Abajo! Around 10 of them are using Darkroom Door stamps, especially the All Occasions set (after all, that stamp set is great for any card!)

Just wanted to send out a huge congrats to Teresa for such a great achievement!

Look out for the next issue of Take Ten, due out 1st December. Teresa has more cards in there showing how to use mixed media backgrounds on your cards. For those she uses the Correspondence stamp set!

Woo hoo, way to go Teresa!

Stampers Sampler Oct/Nov 2010

In the latest issue of Stampers Sampler, artist Tracy Evans from England has used our Christmas Reindeer stamp set as a part of her Christmas mini book (as seen here on the cover. The 'Believe' stamp shown in the label holder is a part of the Christmas Reindeer stamp set.)

It's a fabulous project, and congrats to Tracy for making the front cover of this issue!

Got buttons?

The latest Handmade magazine Vol 28 No 2 just landed on my doorstep and inside it you'll find a set of cards created by yours truly. If you're like me, you may just have a stash of buttons that are just waiting to be used in some crazy creation! My stash includes all sorts of vintage buttons that I've picked up at op shops or inherited from my Grandma or bought from scrapbook or craft stores.

So... I mixed up a few buttons with some stems from our Wildflowers stamp set to create flowers. I've also used the Plaid Blackground stamp with light ink colours for the backgrounds. The sentiments are from the All Occasions stamp set.

The latest Handmade magazine Vol 27 No 7 features our little Robot girl on the front cover!

It's rare for Handmade mag to feature cards on their covers, so it was over the moon when I saw this! I created a set of cards using the Robot Montage, Wordstrips, Robot Stripe paper and Robot Vol 2 Rubber Stamps. Here's a look at the cards:

I also came across this the other day... it's the Nov 2009 issue of Craft Stamper, a fabulous UK stamping mag. It features our Trees stamps on the front cover! The article features all of the four Trees stamps and was created by Rachel Jackson. Beautiful work!!!

This magazine is always packed with loads of cool techniques. It can be a little hard to find here in Aust, but definitely worth tracking down. For anyone who lives on the Central Coast NSW, the newsagent at Erina Fair (across from Coles) stocks it.
