We have some fabulous projects to share with you today using the New York Collection! There's lots of eye candy so let's get straight into it...
Teresa has created a beautiful card using the New York Photochips:
Details from Teresa:
This is a beautiful image from the new Photochip sheet. I used Distress Inks and an ink blending tool to add some subtle colour to the image to give a vintage look. I then adhered the coloured Photochip to a Prima notecard with some tissue tape. To finish it off, I added a little ink to the word from the new Wordstrips so that the white writing wouldn't look so stark.
Another idea is to create gift tags using the Photochips! Check these out by Connie Mercer:
Details from Connie:
My idea came from the beautiful photographs in the NY photochip collection. They are beautiful the way they are. They would look great tied on a bottle of wine, tied to a gift basket or around a candy bar.
I cut them out, punched a hole, tied on twine. Stamped the back for the personal note (using two journal stamps) I added the sentiment on the Tim Holtz label. I used the sentiments from the Doilies set. They are complete with a library envelope to hold them all.
Here's another Photochip card by Michelle Loffler:
Details from Michelle:
I matted the black/tan patterned paper on white cardstock and then onto red dotted paper. The black border is a felt frame that I cut down then I just popped the sentiment on the Photochip to finish off the card.
Michelle has also created an ATC using the New York Montage sheet:
Details from Michelle:
I used Bo-Bunny (Forever Fall) 6x6 paper stack for this fast ATC by just matting a strip of patterned paper onto white cardstock and then adding to the ATC background. Then I added the Montage images with the Wordstrips. I used the tiny "New York" from the packaging title ... I like to be frugal!
And lastly, a couple of cards from Teresa...
Details from Teresa:
I've never been to New York myself, but it's one of those places that you see on tv so much that you feel you've been there before. I thought I'd put together a card with lots of iconic images - yeah - a montage using the Montage sheet LOL. Some images are glued flat, while others are mounted with foam tape. When it was done, I channelled Carrie Bradshaw and glittered up some letters to help it sparkle.
Details from Teresa:
For this card, I was inspired by tiled subway walls. I cut the Photochip image into tiny 1 cm squares, and stuck them back in place (this was as much fun as a jigsaw puzzle!). I found some little adhesive mirror tiles and used them to frame the image before mounting it onto a Prima notecard. I then sponged a little Antique Linen Distress Ink over the image to help it match the notecard a little better.
