Next up in the Love Letters Collection is Love Letters Vol 2 stamp set:
I love the images in this stamp set. Look how cheeky the gent is at the bottom who is mailing the letter. Wouldn't we love to know what he has written in that envelope!! There's lots of nice collage elements in this stamp set too, inlcuding the postcard, postal service stamp, pointing hand and some quotes.
Here's some ideas using this stamp set:
I've used the postcard stamp as a background for this card - just stamped it several times onto the cardstock using Sepia ink.
I used alcohol inks for the background (Juniper, Lake Mist and Lemonade) and stamped over the top with Jet Black ink. This image would also look fabulous coloured in with markers such as Marvy's or Copics. You could really highlight the different details and give the flowers some colour etc!
Instead of stamping the whole quote that you can see at the top of the tin, I've just used the word 'love'. Makes it versatile!
Here's a tag by Godelieve using the image of the couple:
Godelieve has used Viva Decor Precious Metal Colour 'Blackberry' on the tag (Tim Holtz Alterations 'Tag & Bookpates' die) and has stamped the quote over the top. The image of the couple was stamped and mounted onto the tag. The little cork vial has been filled with beads.
Very nice!!!! Notice how Godelieve has trimmed the image of the couple off the edge of the tag and has used those extra bits as a strip across the bottom of the tag and for the tag hole at the top! Very clever use of the extra bits!!
