Today we have some projects using the Hello Baby Collection by Guest Artist Belinda Spencer! Check these out...
ATC #1: ITSY BITSY
This simple ATC has a Kraft cardstock base with some Core’dinations layered on top. The beautiful baby image from the Hello Baby Montage has been edge distressed and inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink and then has been mounted on Kraft cardstock. Individual letters were cut from the Hello Baby Wordstrip and mounted on Kraft and chipboard. To finish I tied a length of jute around the ATC with a gold metal dummy charm attached.
ATC #2: CUTE AS A BUTTON
I have stamped my favourite Plaid Background Stamp onto some Full Bloom Blush pattern paper using Spun Sugar Distress Ink. I then distressed the edges, crumpled up the paper and flattened out again. I distressed and inked the edges of the Hello Baby Montage Sheet image and layered on top. The butterflies were heat embossed with Ranger White Embossing Puffs onto some white Bazzill sprayed with Cherry Limeade Glimmermist and then sewed onto the ATC with buttons and white thread.
CARD #3: BABY BOY
The Plaid Background Stamp was applied to the textured side of some white Bazzill on this card using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. The edges were distressed and inked with the same ink. I sprayed a piece of white cardstock with some Peacock Chalkboard Glimmermist, applied the sheet music stamp from the Melody Stamp Set DDRS011 with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and distressed the edges. The Hello Baby Montage image was simply distressed and layered on top. The words from the Hello Baby Wordstrip DDWS012 were distressed and mounted on Kraft cardstock and added with 3D foam for added dimension.
CARD #2: SWEET BABY GIRL
I heavily sanded the Photochip on this card to soften the black background. I rubbed in some Tattered Rose Distress Ink and sprayed with Vintage Pink Glimmermist. The edges were distressed and gingham ribbon added. My favourite Plaid Background Stamp was applied to some Full Bloom Blush pattern paper DDPP008 and heat embossed with Ranger White Embossing Puffs. Some soft pink and white lace was added to the top and bottom and the pieces layered together and secured with some handstitched crosses. I heat embossed some butterflies from the Butterflies Rubber Stamp Set using the Embossing Puffs again. I added wings to the baby image by stamping the largest butterfly onto transparency using Blazing Red Staz On, folding in half and securing with a heart stick pin. The words were created from the Hello Baby Wordstrip.
CARD #1: PITTER PATTER
This is a really simple layered card in neutral colours to suit either a girl or boy. I first cut some Full Bloom Meadow pattern paper DDPP007 to fit the card base. I distressed the edges, scrunched up the paper, flattened out again and inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink. For the next layer I simply applied the Plaid Background Stamp to some Kraft cardstock using Timber Brown Staz On. I think that background stamp has to be my all time favourite. It is so versatile. Next I flicked some Tattered Leather Glimmermist across the surface of the card. The Hello Baby Photochip DDPC009 forms the final layer of this card. I coloured in the teddy with the No. 30 Rosewood Marvy Le Plume marker, distressed the edges and inked with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink before adding some jute and a metal charm. Finally the words were created using the Hello Baby Wordstrip.
Fabulous projects Belinda!!! I love how you've cut out the letters from the Wordstrips to create your own words using smaller and larger letters... very creative!!
Stay tuned... as Belinda has one last bunch of projects to share with you using all things vintage!
