We're so pleased to have Sharmaine as our latest Guest Artist!! Sharmaine has created a bunch of scrapbook layouts using a variety of Darkroom Door goodies. Here's her first project...
Lesson #1058
As soon as I saw the Big Number stamps I knew I wanted to use them on this page. This layout is a life lesson that our DD#2 learnt recently and I wanted to create a page so she would remember to do it often. The pattern paper background is one of my favourites, San Marco, and I used some of the Robot Dots paper as the background for the Butterfly stamp. The other stamp, that I used on this page, was the lace border (another favourite) from the Little Dreams stamp set, that I heat embossed. I used some alphas, cut from the Red Alphastrip to put a ‘pull’ on the journal tag and the other Darkroom Door product, on this page, is a Venetian Wordstrip, which I used a border punch on, which was perfectly relevant to the page :)

Louise’s Wedding Bouquet
November saw the wedding of my Brother In Law and I was soooo happy to see that my new Sister In Law had a bunch of Lily’s as her bouquet. She must have known I had a packet of Viva La Flora photochips!! And that, of course, meant that the Viva La Flora Vol. 2 filmstrip was also going to work really well on the page. Seems my new Sister In Law has already scored some big points in my scrappy world ;)

Zoom Zoom
I just love the bold, bright colours of the Robots Montage and wondered what I could create to showcase these. Teamed with the Esplori pattern paper, journal stamp, date stamp and the bottom of a filmstrip I found a way!! A memory captured. The day our DD#4 made a airplane with all the crew and spent all day playing with it, yep a memory captured!

Funny Photo
I just adore the Photobooth products and the Photography stamps. I was so happy that I pulled together a page that used both of these products. The other product on this page is some cut up filmstrip (I just love to cut product up and use little bits here and there)

Christmas Pageant 2010
We love to go to our local Christmas Pageant. The gorgeous green of the Meadow Pattern Paper worked perfectly with the Christmas page. I used the Big Number stamps and finished off the page with some Yuletide Montage pictures. I think the montage images would also be cool laminated and turned into bookmarks, as would the robots!!
Thanks so much for sharing these with us Sharmaine and being a Guest Artist for Darkroom Door! We love how you have combined all different elements on your pages to preserve your memories!
