Sarah Schwerin has been busy with the Under The Sea stamp set to create these little beauties...
* Under The Sea stamp set
* Distress Embossing Ink
* Ink blending Tool (with felt for the alcohol inks)
Details:
* I created the background on gloss cardstock using different blue and green alcohol inks applied with the Ranger inking tool (with felt pads). I then used Distress Embossing ink to stamp the plants/reeds onto the background, and heat embossed them with Peeled Paint Distress Embossing Powder which gave thema really great texture. A small piece of netting was glued to the bottom of the background. I matted it on black bazzill cardstock, and then adhered it to the front of my card base which is made from orange bazzill cardstock.
* The fish were stamped using Memento Ink on white card and coloured with Copic Markers. I cut them out and mounted them to the front of the card using foam mounting tape.
To get the different coloured reeds, I coloured the first layer with the alcohol inks, and then added another layer of reeds over the top.
And here's an ATC:
The background was created same as the card. I stamped the seahorse onto the ATC and heat embossed it with black ink, just so that I could get the "hairs" in the background without having to cut them out. I stamped the seahorse and coloured it with Copic markers. I cut it out (all except the hair) and adhered it over the black embossed image.
Fabulous Sarah!!! Love all the vibrant colours! Thanks so much for inspiring us with these ideas :)
