Our From The Kitchen stamp set is just perfect for making your own recipe book! The 'Recipes' word stamp fits perfectly into the large label stamp so it's easy to make the cover label for your own recipe book. Godelieve has created a fabulous recipe book to show you here:
Supplies:
Darkroom Door Plaid Background Stamp
Darkroom Door From The Kitchen stamp set
Darkroom Door Alphastrips 04
Marvy le Plume II pens
Blank Book, green ribbon, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, Silver embossing powder
- I inked up the Plaid Background stamp with Marvy Le Plume markers.
- Cut the stamped cardstock into 4 pieces and distressed the edges
- Glued onto black cardstock.
- I stamped the large label and "Recipes" on cream cardstock, cut out and glued onto black cardstock.
- Cut out letters from the alphastrip to for "Family". I used Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to put the letters in place.
- The whisk is stamped and heat embossed with silver embossing powder. Carefully cut out and glued onto the plaid background.
- I attached this piece to the linen book cover with bookbinding glue.
- Tied a green ribbon around the book.
The whisk looks fabulous embossed in silver!
What a great recipe book! This would make a great gift too, especially to someone who's just moved out of home and needs a bunch of recipes! Not only that - how awesome does the Plaid Background look with the different colours!
Thanks for sharing Godelieve!
