Fabric, glove, beads, buttons, flowers, lace, doilies, book pages and more from own stash.
The Venice Gondolas image was stamped onto silk using StazOn ink in black.
The Star Background was stamped onto a Size 8 Buff Tag using Tattered Rose Ranger Distress Ink. I have then heat
embossed it using clear embossing power. (I LOVE the Rose on the
manilla luggage tag).
I basically just stitched everything on, wanting to create the "feel"
of Venice, using a glove that my Grandmother wore to my mother's
wedding. Although it has a modern twist to it, I think that it has
captured the "magic" and contrast of Venice.....
