We've had a lot of fun hosting a couple of swaps this year... and we'd like to host some more! To make it easier, I've put the theme for each swap and the due date in the side bar on the left. The details for each swap will be the same, so I'm posting them here for your reference. Please refer to this post if you wish to take part.
Here's the details:
Swap Theme:
Each month we will have a different swap based on a theme.
Collection theme swap: The collection may only have rubber stamps (eg: Essentials) or may include the paper products (eg: Yuletide). Use any paper product or stamp from the appropriate Collection to create a series of Artist Trading Cards. (Please note: If using paper products, you must use the original product in your creations. Any reproduction of the paper product is a breach of copyright. Sorry, but true!)
Anything Goes: For these swaps you can use any Darkroom Door product from any collection.
Colour Theme: Create ATC's in this colour using ANY Darkroom Door stamp or paper product!
For The Ladies: Create ATC's using any Darkroom Door rubber stamp or paper product with a 'Ladies' theme. Whether it's an actual Lady (Photobooth images or stamps) or something that ladies would usually like (flowers, butterflies etc)... it's open to your interpretation!
For The Gents: Create ATC's using any Darkroom Door rubber stamp or paper product with a 'Gentleman' theme. Whether it's an actual man (Photobooth images or stamps) or something that guys would usually like (cars, Steampunk etc)... it's open to your interpretation!
Spring Has Sprung: Create ATC's using any Darkroom Door Rubber Stamp or paper product depicting a 'spring' theme! Think flowers, bright colours... anything that you think is 'spring'!
What to create:
10 ATC's for 9 in return. The 10th ATC will be kept in the Darkroom Door ATC Collection.
Can you create more than one set?
Yes! As we have quite a few people participate in these swaps, you are welcome to do more than one set of ATC's. Each set of ATC's must be different though (Ie: the first ten ATC's will be different to the next 10), and each set must have 10 ATC's in total. If you have sent more ATC's than there are swappers, I'll return the unswapped ATC's to you.
How to send them in:
If possible, try to send your ATC's in one of the trading card sleeves that hold 9 ATC's or similar.
it's just a lot easier if they are in some type of sleeve system so I can see the whole collection easily, and it makes it a lot easier to sort. The ATC in the top left corner will remain there as yours, the rest will be swapped with others in the swap. Check out our other ATC supplies here.
Due Date:
Please refer to side bar for the closing date of each swap.
What are ATC's?
If you've never created ATC's before - Wikipedia has a description here.
Do you need to sign up?
No, there's no need anymore to email us if you're going to take part. Just have your swap in by the due date and you'll be in the swap!
Address to send your swap:
Darkroom Door *insert swap name here* Swap
PO Box 8039
Tumbi Umbi NSW 2261
Australia
Please note:
* Please remember to write your details on the back of each ATC: Name, email, edition number (1/10, 2/10 etc), and that it was created for the Darkroom Door swap!
* Everyone's swap pieces will be made into a gallery and will be available for viewing on the Darkroom Door blog after the swap is completed.
* Please include an addressed and stamped return envelope or satchel with your swap. If you are outside of Australia, you have two options: 1) pay for your return postage via paypal (I'll let you know the amount). or 2) create two extra ATC's using any Darkroom Door products that are different to your swap ATC's. We'll add these to our Darkroom Door collection and will pay for your return postage in exchange :)
* Please allow enough time for your swap parcel to arrive here in time!! International players should have their parcels sent two weeks before the due date.
If you have any questions or need any further information, please email us at info @ darkroomdoor.com and we'll respond as soon as possible!
Check out some of our past ATC Swap Galleries on the left side bar. We also have many video galleries on our YouTube channel.
Thanks for your continued interest in our ATC swaps!! We LOVE seeing what you create and look forward to seeing what you all come up with in the future :):)
Cheers,
Rachel
