Stamp Camp Photochip Challenge!
I've just spent a fun weekend in Staveley, New Zealand teaching at the 2bStamping Stamp Camp! On the Friday night all the ladies were given a challenge pack from Doreen (owner of 2bStamping) which included a Venetian Photochip image, some Venetian Wordstrips, and then a selection of black and white card stock and ribbons. Everyone was challenged to create a card of some sort using anything from the challenge pack, and the card had to remain black and white. There was a flurry of activity and ideas being thrown around as the challenge was being done! I was so impressed with all the ideas and creations, and especially loved looking at all the different ways they used the Photochips! There were lots of prizes and stamps being given away too - which I hope you all enjoy!
The ladies were happy to share their art here on the blog too, so please enjoy a selection of these wonderful cards from the 2bStamping Stamp Camp Challenge:

Aren't they wonderful cards!! Such a great assortment of ideas! Thank you to everyone for sharing your creativity and taking part in the challenge, and for also making my weekend so memorable. I had a fabulous time, and hope to see you all again someday!
Here's a couple of group shots of everyone from the camp:
Thanks to each and everyone of you for a great weekend!
Cheers,
Rachel

On Wednesday I am flying out to New Zealand to teach a few workshops in Christchurch for Stamping Fun Unlimited and a stamp camp south of Christchurch for 2bStamping. We'll be using LOTS of the Darkroom Door goodies, so I'm really looking forward to it!
Also, Darkroom Door will be exhibiting at the SIA Trade Show in Sydney on April 8th - 9th. I'll be teaching a workshop on Tuesday at noon using both Venetian and Full Bloom Photochips. We'll also have some make & takes at our booth using Stamps, Montages, Photobooth and Wordstrips. If you're attending the show, please drop by to our booth and check out all our new products and complete a make & take! If you haven't registered for this show but would like to attend, please contact Louisa Heywood from the SIA Committee. Hope to see you there!
Enjoy the rest of your Easter break!
